Forrest's Blog

For my Advanced English Class I have to write what I think about someone else's blog. I got one of my friend's blogs. He is really into architecture, which I think is interesting, but I'm not as interested as he is because he is planning to be an architect. I still think that it is cool that he can identify the type of architecture that a building is.
Forrest's blog is really awesome he's got a picture of a city but it is in black, white and blue light for his background. His pictures are from Salt Lake City and the United Kingdom and they show the Parliament building in London and the Salt Lake City Temple. I think that they are both very beautiful pictures and great architecture.
Forrest also has a picture of swimmers doing a backstroke heat. He said that his doesn't look like that and that he's a swimmer too.

This Is Me

I love volleyball. I've played for three years. I like being part of a team and I like being involved in the school. Volleyball is awesome. I like watching it on the TV for the Olympics and beach volleyball. I decided not to play this year because I'm taking several hard classes and I wanted to have some free time. I might play next year and I might play in college.

I love dogs. I have two dogs at home a Labrador and a hound. The labrador's name is Maddie and the hound's name is Ginger. My dog Ginger meets me at the door everyday after school and starts wiggling and squirming everywhere. Maddie just rolls over and wants me to scratch her belly. Maddie also thumps her tail. Maddie and Ginger both are overwieght because my dad spoils them so much. Ginger has something wrong with her leg that makes her limp when she's tired but otherwise she's the happiest dog ever. I really like dogs because they protect you from snakes, mice, and frogs. Maddie loves hunting mice in the barn and she has actually caught a few. I love both dogs very much.

I love taking long, long walks especially in the countryside. I haven't had time to walk in the Indiana countryside yet, but I will once we build our house. Right now I'm living in the city and it's not the same. It's okay but it's not the same. I love the sun shining on me and the wind blowing in my face and hair. I also like it because it is good exercise. I love being outdoors and seeing what is happening in nature.

I love horseback riding. I have two horses Annie and Flare. Flare is black and a thoroughbred. Annie is tan and an Appaloosa. I like taking care of them and I love just watching them in the field, grazing. I like Flare the most because we've had her the longest. Annie we've had for like, four months. I ride Annie the most though because Flare could get away from me. I've had one accident on Annie and that was because we were going up a hill, it was also muddy and wet and she slipped in a rut. I went flying over her head. I wan't hurt but I was bruised and my arm hurt a lot.

Life After School Starts

My life hasn't changed that much since school started. I still have free time just not as much. I am starting to sleep better and have gotten into a schedule or have tried to. I went to bed at eleven p.m. on Sunday which is like a first for me. I haven't gone to bed at eleven for a long long time. My usual bed time was aroung one, two, three in the morning then I would sleep until noon. God I miss that, sleeping in till noon. And eating whenever I want, I miss that too.
I love coming back to school. I know that makes me sound like a nerd, which I am, but I do like school. It keeps me busy. The only thing that I hate about school is no sleeping in, no eating whenever you want and none of my friends have any classes with me this year which stinks. I see my friends in the hallway but it's not the same thing. Clubs are starting up tomorrow so maybe I'll see some of my other friends.
My brother is in football so I rarely ever see him which is great. I know that makes me seem awful but I saw enough of him during the summer, morning, noon, and night. He was always bugging me and he's gotten worse since school has started. I don't know what it is but little brothers when they don't have enough time to bug you they just find something that really really annoys you whenever they do see you.
Otherwise I'm great with all the stress that school entails and everything else.

I'm Ready For School

The reason why I chose Bring It On as my title is because I'm taking a lot of hard courses this year. I wanted it that way because I was so bored sophmore year. This year, Junior Year, I'm taking Debate, US History, Physics, Twentieth Century Literature, Pre-Calculus, Advanced English/LA-DC, and 3-D Art. I'm very happy with my schedule. I'm ready to work very hard so I'm saying to all of my teachers Bring It On cause I'm ready for it.
